Registered Psychologist
Peter Kim is a Registered Psychologist (MOrgPsych, B.Psych Hons) with an expertise in providing counselling and therapy for a wide range of mental health challenges, including Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment Disorders, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Peter is an accredited SIRA practitioner and he has substantial experience treating psychological injuries arising from workplace incidents and motor vehicle accidents.
Peter is dedicated to using evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness to address each client’s unique needs. He has worked collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and is deeply committed to supporting clients on their journey to recovery and personal growth.
Peter works with individuals facing a variety of concerns including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma, addiction, academic stress, self-esteem issues, burnout, relationship challenges, and work-related stress. As a devoted Christian, he also offers psychological care for those seeking a faith-based approach to their mental health treatment.
Peter’s session fees are claimable through Private Health Funds and Medicare rebates are available for clients who have a current GP Mental Health Care Plan.
