Clinical Psychologist

Allira Garradd is a clinically trained Registered Psychologist with a warm and inclusive approach to treatment. She is passionate about utilising evidence-based treatments to target a range of mental health issues in children, teens, families and adults.

Allira specialises in helping people with worry, anxiety and low mood. She has worked with both children and adults in a range of settings including specialist hospitals (in and out-patient), research clinics and private practice. In addition to psychological treatment, she has experience in cognitive psychometric assessments (starting from 5yo), behavioural assessments and school observations. Allira has also facilitated a range of child-based group programs for worry (i.e., Cool Kids) and social skills, as well as adult programs focused on practical strategies to assist people with severe presentations of mood and anxiety.

Allira’s approach to treatment utilises a range of therapeutic approaches including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy. Her experience working within range of therapeutic modalities enables her to tailor treatment to your specific needs in a creative and flexible way.
