At LCIW we have extended business hours which offers you with greater flexibility to see one of our practitioners. Appointments are available from Tuesday to Saturday, from 8am to 7pm.

What to expect when making an appointment

LCIW’s intake service is available during business hours on 9712 5311. All information you provide will be treated with the utmost of confidentiality and respect. Your call will be attended to personally and in a timely manner. If you have a referral to see a particular practitioner our administration team can assist with arranging an appointment for you. Otherwise, simply brief our administration team of your presenting needs and they will allocate you to a suitable practitioner.

Do I need a referral?

Self-referrals are always accepted. Alternatively, individuals who have a GP Mental Health Care Plan in place are entitled to receive a Medicare rebate for Psychology, Social Work and Dietetic consultations. Some private health schemes also fund treatments, and individuals facing financial constraints may be eligible for referral under the Psychological Support Services (PSS). PSS referrals are made via GPs within the Central Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network region.

Cancellation or Rescheduling Policy

Please provide 2 working days’ notice should you require a change of appointment. Our automatic SMS reminder service is complimentary to assist you with keeping your appointments. Only reply if you are no longer able to attend your appointment by calling or emailing the office. Late cancellations or non-attendance will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session charge.
