At LCIW we have extended business hours which offers you with greater flexibility to see one of our practitioners. Appointments are available from Monday to Saturday.

What to expect when making an appointment

All appointments are made by calling our practice at Life Care Inner West on (02) 9712 5311 or emailing admin@lifecareinnerwest.com.au. LCIW’s telephone intake service is available during business hours on 02 9712 5311.

All information which you provide will be treated with the utmost of confidentiality and respect. Your call will be attended to personally and in a timely manner. If you have a referral to see a specific practitioner our administration team will assist with arranging an appointment for you. Otherwise, simply brief our administration team of your presenting needs and they will allocate you to the most suitable practitioner. Alternatively, you can email your referral / enquiry to confidential@lifecareinnerwest.com.au.

Do I need a referral?

Self-referrals are always accepted. Alternatively, individuals who have a GP Mental Health Care Plan in place are entitled to receive a Medicare rebate for a portion of the session fee for Psychology, and Occupational Therapy consultations. Some private health funds also provide rebates for sessions.

Cancellation or Rescheduling Policy

We require 2 working days’ notice for all cancellations or to reschedule an appointment. Our automated SMS reminder service is complimentary and will assist you with keeping your appointments. Do not reply to the SMS reminder. Please call or email the office within 48 hours of the appointment, should you need to reschedule or cancel.

Late cancellations, last minute rescheduling or non-attendance incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the session charge, (unless in cases of illness or unforeseeable circumstances).
