Peter Kim is a Registered Psychologist (MOrgPsych, B.Psych Hons) who provides assessment and treatment for a range of mental health concerns. His main areas of focus include depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Peter has extensive experience delivering psychological services within insurance schemes, including workers compensation and CTP. He also has experience with corporate organisations providing EAP counselling, critical incident response, and group psychological first aid.

Peter works with all clients aged 12 and above. He supports individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, low motivation, ADHD-related challenges, sleep difficulties, trauma, burnout, career concerns, workplace issues, relationship difficulties, and academic stress.

Peter uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each client. These include EMDR therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. He collaborates with other health professionals when required to support coordinated care.

Peter also offers a faith-informed approach for clients who wish to integrate Christian perspectives into therapy.

Sessions run for approximately 50 to 55 minutes.

Sessions may be eligible for Medicare rebates with a valid GP Mental Health Care Plan, and private health insurance claims may apply. Peter is an accredited SIRA practitioner.
